2016年2月20日星期六上午11時，天主教澳門教區為李順宗教區神父舉行殯葬彌撒，由李斌生主教主持，約三十多位神父共祭。參禮送別的教友自10時開始就到達主教座堂，祈禱之聲肅穆莊嚴。眾多不捨的教友於禮儀後前往聖味基墳場，向李神父致以最後的謝意。
Farewell, Fr. Luís Lei Xavier
On February 20, Saturday, at 11:00 in the morning, Bishop Stephen Lee celebrated the funeral Mass for the repose of the soul of Fr. Luís Lei Xavier. Many other priests concelebrated with him. The cathedral overflowed with worshipers, who filed before the remains of Fr Xavier starting at 10:00 AM to say their final prayers before the Mass. Many of the faithful also accompanied the hearse to St Michael Cemetery, where Fr Xavier was finally laid to rest, after the final prayers offered by Bishop Lee.
