The Diocesan Youth Commission will hold this Wednesday its very first open day with the aim of introducing the new Diocesan Youth Centre to Macauโ€™s population. The Commission wants the facilities, located at Rua Formosa, to become a reference point for the Special Administrative Regionโ€™s younger generations.

The Saint Pius X Music Academy will celebrate its 60th anniversary on October 8th. To mark the occasion, Bishop Stephen Lee Bun-sang will unveil the busts of the schoolโ€™s founder, Father รureo Castro, and the schoolโ€™s patron, Saint Pius X, in the new premises of the institution. Born to a rich family in southern France, Roch of Montpellier devoted himself to the care of the sick and the Catholic Church immortalized him with the status of protector against infectious diseases, patron saint of the invalids, surgeons and falsely accused people and defender of dogs. In Macau and around the world, devotion to Saint Roch was restored due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
