The Macau subsidiary of the Claretian Publications will publish, starting from next year, the Portuguese version of Children’s Daily Word. The book will be sold in Macau and distributed in several other Portuguese-speaking regions.

South Korean priest on mission to get St Lawrence’s youth back to church

Born in South Korea and facing the conundrum, Father James Ryu Jae Hyoung wants to better understand what worries and motivates young people in the parish. Nevertheless, there is hope: twenty children will celebrate their First Communion on June 19th.

Pro-Life Program to Highlight the Value of Human Life
The Macau Cardinal Newman Center of Culture and Performing Arts’ prolife fortnight includes various programs to cultivate a culture of protecting the sanctity of life, among which are an art exhibition and three round-table discussions. The initiative – the second of its kind – is part of the Pro-life Programme, which will run until May 23rd.
