The Macau Cardinal Newman Center of Cultural and Performing Arts will promote this coming July, for the second year in a row, the project “City and Trees, Scenery and People.” The initiative aims to cultivate the younger generation’s interest in nature and concern for environmental protection.
The Macau Cardinal Newman Center of Culture and Performing Arts’ prolife fortnight includes various programs to cultivate a culture of protecting the sanctity of life, among which are an art exhibition and three round-table discussions. The initiative – the second of its kind – is part of the Pro-life Programme, which will run until May 23rd.
The Macau Cardinal Newman Centre of Cultural and Performance Arts will celebrate its first anniversary on December 4th, with a Winter-themed recital, the last concert of the Four Season series. The show will take place outside the premises of the cultural centre, on Calçada da Vitória. Young musicians will perform jazz, Chinese traditional music and hits from as far away as Portugal.
