Pilgrim Image of the Sacred Heart visits Macau families

Around two dozen families have received the Pilgrim Image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus for monthly visits since the beginning of October. The initiative is one of the events being hosted by local parishes and Catholic organizations to promote vocations to the ordained ministry and consecrated life. The Diocese of Macau is currently celebrating, until December 8, 2024, the Diocesan Year of Vocations.

Youngsters learn devotion to Sacred Heart of Jesus through drawing contest

The winners of a drawing competition that was promoted by the pastoral care of the Portuguese-speaking community at the cathedral parish were announced on Sunday. The Sacred Heart of Jesus inspired contest attracted the participation of over two dozen children who attend catechesis at the Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady.

The Saint of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

When taking her vows, she added Mary’s name to her name. She always had visions of Our Lady, but she never spoke of this mystical experience. She remained among the Visitandines for over twenty years, receiving extraordinary graces, but also performing many penances and mortifications, always with a smile on her face. However, the nuns and superiors did not believe her, in fact, they even mocked her, implying that she was sick or crazy.
