We tend to lose ourselves in the trivialities of life, which is the way of the world. But God calls us away from the superficiality of the world to ascend to him. In verity, we exist for God, ergo, our sole aim in life must be to dwell with him in eternity.
As children of God, we have the power of interceding for ourselves and others to have our needs met by God. This power of intercession has been harnessed exceedingly well by the Associação Piedosa do Escapulário do Carmo on the Taipa Island, already having prayed for the intentions of about 140 people.
