From October to April, a dozen schools are hosting an exhibition assembled by the University of Saint Joseph, on the role of mangroves as nature-based solutions for climate change adaptation and mitigation. The International School of Macau and the Yuet Wah College were the first educational establishments to receive the exhibit. The Portuguese School of Macau is also on the list.
The University of Saint Joseph held a ceremony this Thursday to celebrate its 25th anniversary and the Vatican did not let the occasion go unnoticed, with the granting of a papal blessing. The higher education institution expects to enrol the first students from Mainland China in the second semester of the current academic year. Bishop Stephen Lee is confident that the university will be able to preserve its international nature in the medium and long term.
Caritas Macau will celebrate its 70th anniversary on December 8th with a Solemn Mass at the Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady. The celebration will be presided over by Bishop Stephen Lee Bun-sang and stands as an opportunity to thank God for the work done by the organization on behalf of the most disadvantaged, Paul Pun told O CLARIM.
