南美洲厄瓜多爾當地時間十六日晚間發生規模七點八級的強震，導致巨大捐失及傷亡慘重。澳門教區李斌生主教有見及此，特呼籲全澳教友多為災民祈禱，主教並指定4月30日、5月1日本澳所有彌撒，均作第二次捐獻，並將捐款交予主教公署教務行政處轉交澳門明愛以賑災民，紓解苦困。

Ecuador Earthquake Appeal
On April 16, a strong earthquake hit Ecuador. More than 600 people lost their lives and thousands were injured and affected by this catastrophe. To express our solidarity towards the victims, Bishop Stephen Lee asks that next weekend (April 30 and May 1st) in all Masses a collection be made, and the result be sent to the Bishop’s Office that, through Caritas Macau, will make it reach the people in need.
