This is the dilemma that one of Macau’s oldest parishes currently faces. In the parish of Saint Lawrence, involving the younger generations in the liturgical life of the local Catholic communion has proved to be a challenge. Born in South Korea and facing the conundrum, Father James Ryu Jae Hyoung wants to better understand what worries and motivates young people in the parish. Nevertheless, there is hope: twenty children will celebrate their First Communion on June 19th.
