On Wednesday the 9th of February 2022, Bishop Stephen Lee, the Bishop of Macau and Rector of Seminário de São José installed two seminarians of the Diocese of Macao as Lectors. The two seminarians, who are currently in the senior year of their theological studies are Bosco Chan from Hongkong and Adriano Agostinho from Macau.
“The Story of St. Frances Xavier Parish, Mong Ha”, an exhibition which began in mid-January, takes visitors on a journey through more than a hundred years of historical time to revisit memories of the growth of the Parish.

The anniversary of St. Paul’s School was on 25 January, but due to the pandemic, the school celebrated its 51st anniversary thanksgiving Mass earlier, on January 21. The Mass was officiated by the Principal Fr. Chen Xin Wang, accompanied by Fr. Lawrence The Reh and Fr. Fan Ya Cheng.
The University of Saint Joseph is a step closer to fulfilling its aim to demonstrate that it is “a university in, of and for Macau” and “in, of and for China”. The Catholic-run University announced recently that it has signed exchange agreements with two higher education institutions from the neighbouring province of Guangdong.
The Prayer Service for Christian Unity, that usually brings together the different Christian denominations of Macau, will take place this Saturday, but it will be conducted in a virtual format only. The decision was made by the organizers early in the week, following the aggravation of the epidemic in several cities of the neighbouring province of Guangdong.
