March 2024 marks a significant milestone for Colégio Diocesano de São José (CDSJ) as it proudly celebrates its 93rd anniversary. This Catholic educational institution has been a cornerstone of academic innovations, spiritual growth, and community service since its establishment in 1931. Over the past nine decades, the school has played an instrumental role in shaping the lives of countless students and fostering a nurturing environment in Macau that combines faith, education, and character development.
CDSJ ‘s journey began nearly a century ago when the Catholic Diocese of Macau recognized the need for quality Catholic education in the community. With unwavering determination and a strong commitment to faith-based learning, the Diocese laid the foundation for what would become a revered institution. Throughout the years, CDSJ has upheld its mission to provide a holistic education that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit of each student. Guided by the principles and virtues of St Joseph, the school has consistently strived to create an inclusive and compassionate community, fostering an environment where children can grow intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.
CDSJ’s mission has always been to enhance academic excellence and lead students to live the life of LABOR et VIRTUS (virtuous life and good work).
