The Catholic Pastoral Care for Filipino Migrants organized a youth fun day with the theme “Forever Young” on April 5, 2019 at Hac Sa beach, in collaboration with Couples for Christ Foundation on Family & Life (Cfc-FFL) and Pastoral Commission on Family & Life. The event commenced with a Holy Mass at the Pastoral Center at 8:00 AM. They then proceeded to Hac Sa beach.
Fr Andrew de Vera, priest-in-charge of the youth ministry welcomed everyone. He said this event was organized to gather the youth in preparation for future activities of the church. There will be a series of formation activities every 1st Saturday of the month at the Pastoral Center. In his inspirational message, Fr Andy Vergara said, “One can be forever young only with the grace of God,” thus, encouraging everyone to stay connected with the Lord.
The CFC-FFL Youth coming from Hongkong and the Philippines facilitated the program. There were songs of praise and worship and team building activities as well as performances.
Fr Ryan June Real gave the final blessing.
