The outreach program of the Commission on Social Action of the Pastoral Center for Filipino Migrants located at Francisco Antonio St. No. 48-58, Macau continues to distribute supplies of grocery items to migrant workers who have permanently lost their jobs and to some who are only working a few days in a month as a consequence of the cost cutting of some companies affected by the  pandemic.

Some of the recipients are blue card holders working in a casino with fifteen-day no pay leave, some working in a cleaning company with no work since July. One factory worker whose working permit was cut on November 10 said that the contract of thirty Filipinos which were not renewed expired on November 5.  Forty others were only given three months to work.

According to one volunteer, the distribution of goods is only available for those who are completely unemployed and added that they are currently prioritizing those who were terminated and waiting for a repatriation flight. For record purposes, recipients are requested to present copies of the blue card, passport and the name of the employer.
