“For better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health till death do us part.” These are the words that couples profess to each other during a wedding. The realization of this dream of 4 men and 4 women will take place on the 30th of this month, Sunday, at the St Augustine Church during the 11:00 AM Mass.
This mass wedding (Kasalang Bayan) is organized by the Catholic Pastoral Center for Filipino Migrants together with the Commission on Family & Life. The aim is to help couples strengthen their marriage through the graces they receive in the Sacrament of Matrimony.
The preparation for this special day took at least 6 months of pre-Cana seminar given by Rev. Fr. Andrew de Vera, and the processing of necessary documents. This mass wedding is the first time for the English-speaking community in Macau. Everyone is invited to come and be a witness of God’s blessing.
