On 10 July, at 6 PM, the launching of a new edition comprising three books of D Arquimínio da Costa, Fr Lancelote Rodrigues and Fr Mário Acquistapace in the Chinese language, missionaries who worked in Macau, will take place in the auditorium of the Macau Diocese.
Translated from the Portuguese edition of Missionaries for the 21st Century of the International Institute of Macao (IIM), the publications aim to bring communities closer together and promote the knowledge of the workers and collaborators of the Diocese of Macao: priests, missionaries, laymen and scholars who are part of Macau’s cultural identity.
The session will be attended by Macau Bishop Stephen Lee. Fr Pedro Chung, Vicar-General of the Diocese, will present the books. The book launch will also feature a performance by the Choir of St Thomas.
An initiative of the IIM and the Diocese of Macao, the book launch is supported by the Macao Foundation and with the collaboration of the Association of the former students of the St Joseph Seminary in Macau.
