The Diocesan Family Day Preparatory Committee originally set up the Amoris Laetitia On Love in the Family – Diocesan Family Day Gathering on 23rd October 2021, but this has been postponed due to the pandemic.

Parish Family Day postponed to January

The Parish Family Day, an initiative that should have taken place last Sunday, has been postponed to January 15th. The Diocese of Macau opted for a cautious approach, after the latest outbreak of Covid-19 forced schools and educational establishments to close their doors for one entire month.

The 2021 Parish Family Day takes place on October 23rd, in Ilha Verde. The event enjoys an enhanced importance, after Pope Francis declared this year as the Year of the Family Amoris Laetitia.
