On 15 November, 2018, Ho Teng Iat, President of the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News visited Bishop of Macau Stephen Lee. The meeting was held at the Bishop’s Office together with Vice-President Lok Po, António José de Freitas and Director Vong Kok Seng.
Bishop to attend Walk for a Million
During the meeting, Ho Teng Iat thanked the Diocese, which has encouraged various schools and association to participate, for its support of their biggest annual charity event. This year also marks the 35th anniversary of the carnival charity event, which has also been recognized and supported by Macau society, regardless of nationality, race, class or occupation. Bishop Lee was very pleased to accept the invitation to preside over the charity walk, and has discussed a wider range of social issues and relief ideas among the honorable guests.
