Deacon James Chang Woo Ho (張宇鎬) from the Clerical Congregation of the Blessed Korean Martyrs received the sacrament of priesthood from the hands of the Most Reverend Stephen Lee, Bishop of Macau on 29 September 2018. In his homily, Bishop Lee encouraged the new priest to be always faithful and to apply all his energy to the duty to the teaching of Christ and serving all people.
Father James, born in Seoul on 15 March 1989, was baptized in the same city in May 1993, and confirmed in Hanoi (Vietnam) in May 2005. He graduated from the Hanoi International School on May 2007. The new priest entered the congregation on 2 February 2008 and was ordained deacon on 18 December 2017. He came to Macau on 28 February 2018.
