The finality of death is inevitable, and our reward will be determined by our words, thoughts and deeds in this world. We are called to reflect heaven in every aspect of lives so that one day we will be able to enjoy unity with God as our end reward.
A vocation to the priesthood is a special call. It is one that is embraced through discernment and a rigorous regimen of prayer and study. Only perseverance and an earnest desire to serve God and man can lead to authentic priesthood.
Fighting against the temptations of the world and the devil, and especially our own weaknesses, to hold fast to prayer, is what we are all called to do. Once we have overcome the enemy in battle through prayer, we will merit the glory that God has in store for us in heaven.
