As Christians, we believe that we owe our being to God, who breathes life into us. This breath of life, the Holy Spirit, is integral to our existence and the essence of our prayer life and spiritual growth.
As close as we may seem to get to God, the more he seems to mystify us, making our journey toward him indeterminable. Only surrendering to hope and arriving at true charity, that is desiring God for his own sake, can we hope to attain happiness in its fullness.
