On 28th January 2022, the Escola de Santa Teresa do Menino Jesus held Chinese Culture Day – Chinese Culture Art. Students were able to experience the Chinese Lunar New Year and learn about the Chinese Culture Art.
Following the strict guidelines for epidemic prevention, different types of activities were used to let students experience different culture art, including Tie-Dye workshop, traditional paper-cutting workshop, Chinese couplets design experience, lantern riddles, to let students experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture art and the long years of Chinese culture, so as to cultivate students’ understanding of the Chinese culture, deepen the learning about the traditional culture art which promote student learning and the transmission of Chinese culture.
In addition, the teachers and students also prepared the dragon dance, Kung Fu poetry, recited Tang poetry, which were very impressive. The school also used pre-purchase method to let students to pre-order their favorite items. In a few days, all the items were sold. The raised money will be used for charity purposes. In this way, the spirit of appreciation and gratitude are taught to the students.
