Carols bring Christmas cheer

Ross Belle Santos-Balatbat

The Loved Flock Catholic Charismatic community, together with the locals and different parishioners and ministers of St Joseph the Worker parish, sang a 15-minute medley of Christmas songs on 23 December from 8 to 9 PM in front of the parish church. Residents and passers-by in the Iao Hon area came and flocked in the park in front of the church.

For the past twenty years, different groups from the Diocese of Macau have been organizing a program on Christmas Eve at Senado Square. Loved Flock took part as well. Everyone took care to observe health protocols set by the Macau government.  At the end of the performances, Bishop Stephen Lee Bun-Sang delivered his greetings to the audience and participants.

On December 27 at 1 PM, the Catholic Pastoral Center served  a simple lunch to the parishioners as well as the ministers serving during the liturgical services at Saint Augustine Church.  Here, too,  the Loved Flock community serenaded the faithful with their Christmas carols.
