USJ appoints new Vice-Rector, Professor Shu Guang Zhang

The University of Saint Joseph has announced the appointment of Professor Shu Guang Zhang as Vice Rector for External Relations and Institutional Development and Full Professor of Global Studies in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Until August of this year, he was Rector and Professor of the City University of Macau. In addition to a distinguished academic reputation, he comes to USJ with over twenty years of senior leadership in universities in the United States, Mainland China and Macau.

Professor Stephen Morgan, the Rector of the University of Saint Joseph said, “I am delighted that Professor Zhang is joining USJ. He is both a distinguished academic and a highly-respected senior university leader. His experience and energy will bring us an added dimension as the University continues to seek to offer a truly international education to students from Macao and the wider region.”
