On the afternoon of July 12, Macau SAR Chief Executive candidate Mr. Ho Iat Seng paid a courtesy call to Bishop Stephen Lee at the Paço Episcopal. The bishop received Mr Ho in the presence of other representatives of the Diocese.
During the meeting, Mr. Ho expressed his gratitude to the Diocese for its ceaseless contributions to the society of Macau. “It will be of great avail between the Government and the Diocese to keep enhancing and developing society in the area of culture, education, and social matters,” said Mr Ho.
The meeting covered various topics, such as education, teachers and teaching issues, social work, developments in the gaming industry, and psychological counseling.
