OUR LADY OF THE EUCHARIST- Mary prepares the way

An Argentinian priest, Father Salvador Fornieles, who had recently published a book about the Mass (Subiré al altar de Dios) narrates that the invocation that relates our Lady to the Eucharist helped him to grow in love for the Holy Sacrifice. It was this devotion that inspired him to write the book which was published in 2017, the last chapter of which he dedicated to Our Lady of the Eucharist.

A number of favors have been granted through the intercession of Our Lady of the Eucharist.

Jimena Estevez narrates, “On 31 May 2010, my daughter Juliet was diagnosed with leukemia. She was only two years and eight months old. Many people started to pray, and sent holy images. The day after a very tough session of chemotherapy, my friend Cynthia brought the image of Our Lady of the Eucharist. I showed the image to my daughter, and she asked me to leave the image in the room in a place where she could see it. ‘She will help me to get cured!’ And that is exactly what happened. In December 2017, Juliet was given the bill of health.”

Another lady narrates, “I have a holy image of the Our Lady of the Eucharist, and I pray to her every night. My grandniece was going to have heart surgery, so I entrusted the matter to Our Lady. As expected, the surgery went smoothly and my grandniece recovered faster than expected.”

The prayer to Our Lady of the Eucharist goes as follows:

Oh Most Blessed Virgin,

Mother of Jesus and our Mother!

Your Son’s love for us was so great

that He wanted to remain in the Eucharist.

And You, Virgin Mary, gave Him

flesh of your flesh and blood of your blood,

for our nourishment.

Virgin of the Eucharist,

who carries the Child, who is the Body,

holding the grapes, which will become the Blood,

pour in us your love so we may receive Him

with purity, humility and devotion.

Assist us so we become, through your intercession,

men and women who love the Eucharist.

Grant me the favor of… (make your request)

Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory.
