World Day of Prayer for Vocations

  1. The 56th World Day of Prayer for Vocations will be celebrated on Sunday, May 12 (4th Sunday of Easter). The theme of Pope Francis’ message is The courage to take a risk for God’s promise (the message can be found in www.vatican.va).
  2. All Mass collections of that day are to be sent to the Diocesan Procuration Office.
  3. On the same day, The Diocesan Committee for Vocations and the Serra Club will be organizing a Eucharist Celebration of prayer for vocations at 3:00 p.m. at the Cathedral. After the Mass, a reception of congratulation and presentation of souvenirs to all priests and religious celebrating the jubilee of ordination or profession in the religious life will be organized.
