THEOLOGY 101 – Bishop Lee awards certificates to participants

Last December 9, 2018, the participants who have completed the Faith Formation Program offered by the Cathedral Parish for the English-speaking community received their completion certificates from Bishop Stephen Lee.

 The program was designed for 10-month modular-lessons that involve two-hour classroom contact per week.  The successful participants have complied religiously with the assignments, reflection papers, and group study reports. They were required to gain satisfactory scores on periodic and major exams. They have attained sufficient understanding on the level 1 Faith Learning Program.  This February 2019, they will start anew with their journey of faith formation with Level 2, the Sacraments of the Church. The 18 participants are:  Micheal S. Pingul, Jasmine Rose John Pulickal,  Margarita de Jesus Baca López, Sister  Inigo Mercy, Fatima Figuiredo, Emelita A. Anabaab, IMSA, Emelita A. Anabaab, IMSA, Maria Matilde Prado Romero, Nelia M. Tubana, IMSA, Daisy Relojero, Remedios Fronteras Salamares, Leyneth  Cam Laborado, Matilde S. Siosana, IMSA, Erlinda Q. Aquino, Aubrey Hong, Ma. Estela V. Tuaño, Neriza P. Catunao, and Anilamary Paliathayil Joseph. They are from the Philippines, India, Colombia, Mexico and from Macao. Interested new participants must have ample time to devote to the program, must have adequate knowledge in oral and written English. They have to take an exam for assessments and to be qualified to join the program.
