Solemnity of Christ the King. Since 1985, three Dioceses have been created in the province of Pangasinan (Philippines): the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan, the Diocese of Alaminos and the Diocese of Urdaneta. The Solemnity of Christ the King is celebrated by each diocese, and the parishes take turns each year to host the celebrations. This means that each parish will have to wait many years before it can sponsor the festivities which include: anointing of the sick and the aged, house blessings, confessions，baptisms, weddings, novena Masses, recitation of the Rosary. It is capped by a Solemn Mass and a procession which can take at least a couple of hours. Photo shows the celebration in the Diocese of Alaminos, which was held this year in Bolinao, Pangasinan.
