On Tuesday, November 20, 2018, three agencies with concern for children: Cradle of Hope, Against Child Abuse Association Child Protection Centre, and Good Shepherd Centre, have collaborated to do an “awareness raising activity” to commemorate the signing of the International Covenant on the RIGHTS OF THE CHILD on November 20, 1989.
The activity is an educational booth giving out information about Children’s Rights with a special focus on the Rights of Children to grow up in a family.
The booths will be open from 12:30 to 6:30 and in the afternoon after school there will be some drawing activities for children.
The press is invited to come at 2:30 to help us inform the public about the significance of the signing of the International Covenant on the Rights of the Child.
