SAINT DOMINIC’S DAY AT SAINT PAUL SCHOOL – Students and teachers recognized in sports and arts

Saint Dominic’s Day was marked in Saint Paul School on May 25, with the Mass at 8:45 AM honoring Saint Dominic of Guzman, followed by the recognition of hundreds of students and teachers.

Saint Paul School Deputy Principal Fr Athanasius Chan focused his homily on the three main issues: the importance of study, the devotion to our Mother Mary, and the recitation of the Rosary, which has been used as theme for meditation during the monthly Mass, student’s meditation and teacher’s dialogues.

Main Celebrant was Saint Paul School Director of Religious Department Fr Lawrence the Rhe, and Concelebrants where Fr Jose Luis de Miguel, Fr Paul Fan, Fr John Kin, Fr Jose Lopez Legido and Fr Alejandro Salcedo.

500 students and 100 teachers who represented the school in different activities or competitions were paid especial recognition. Also students who took part in the Saint Dominic’s Cup, organized and run by the Saint Paul School Students Association, received recognition. They engaged in different categories, such as sports, singing, drama, design, dance, etc. The competition run from last October to May 2018.
