Be Cool Project held their first family event -”Contest of Families” -last May 15,2021 at their center  at Rua de Choi Long in Taipa.

Mr Rui Machado, activity coordinator, said that the objective of the activity was to promote more time for parents and children to be together.

A series of games ensued among six competing families, always observing pandemic restrictions. To control the number of attendees, participants were required for a pre-registration.

The Be Cool Project was organized by the Association of Rehabilitation of Drug Abusers of Macao (ARTM). ARTM believes that with proper help and guidance, the youth will stay away from drug consumption and risky behaviors and grow as healthy and happy individuals.

The center, which is equipped with a variety of recreational activities, is open daily with after school activities for Macau’s youth. Admission is free of charge.

Families can also get support and counselling from their qualified and dedicated staff. They can be reached at becool@artmmacau.com or 2882 1736.
